I love the Batman movies. I have seen every one. This one was one of the best. Now I'm usually a purist and only go for the Michael Keaton Batman movies but Christian Bale brings something different to it. And Heath Ledger as the Joker was genius. It was a completely different Joker from Jack Nicholson and that's perfectly fine. It is a must see.

Thought it was awesome! Very intense! Heath Ledger did an amazing performance!!! Definitely Oscar-worthy for best supporting actor! You laughed, cried, and got completely creeped out! All emotions in one movie, makes a great movie in my book!

I have never really been a fan of the Batman movies....I've only watched the television show when I was little. This was a great movie!! It is not necessary to have seen the previous Batman films. This movie kept my attention and Ledger gave a stunning performance. I highly recommend this movie.

The Dark Knight was unbelievably amazing!
Even with all the spectacular movies coming out this summer this one tops them all! It has a little bit of everything in it. The comedy balances the tradgedy and you will definately enjoy the 2 and half hours of action packed excitement!

What a fantastic movie this was. I was not disappointed one bit by the complexity and intellegence of this movie. It was dark, yet had the right amount of comic relief and very sophisticated. I recommend this movie to everyone I see and would definately see it again myself.

The Dark Knight is better than you have heard and as good as you hoped it would be. Smartly directed, wonderfully written, and with great special effects...this movie was awesome! As predicted, Heath Ledger gave a performance for the ages. Completely insane and funny at the same time, and also chilling to the bone. I can't see how anyone would want to touch the role of the Joker ever again. I would definitely tell everyone to go see this movie as soon as they can.

the joker played by heath ledger is excellent. Very enjoyable to watch on screen. However the batman character is just a little annoying really. He talks in this crazy voice through the whole movie and the fight scenes between batman and anyone are not that exciting.
Even the bat bike, not that cool guys..just no major batman gadgets in this flick.
I enjoyed it and its worth watching but I expected it to be better.
Everyone should still go as a tribute to heath's death though.
No better joke than Heath but Michael Keaton is still the best batman right now!

It was a good movie overall. Not for little kids. The action/fight scenes didnt show the action. It was like they edited out every other clip. He would grab somebody, then they were on the floor or out of the picture. Didnt really show the hits and such. I dont know, maybe batman is just that fast. lol His voice was irretating. The first scene with him talking was early on, and instantly I thought to myself, hope he doesnt talk like that thru the whole movie(he does). The Joker stold the show. He was awesome!!! The movie could have ended sooner, kinda dragged on. Overall Id say it was a good movie.

I am 45 years old and I told my 16 year old cousin that It was THE best movie I have ever seen. It has definitely set the standard for all types of movies to adhere to and DC has come roaring back over Marvel in one fell swoop!!!!!

I liked the way all the characters had equal time on the screen. I don't have a favorite character but Heath Ledger looked like he had a great time playing the Joker! It was a little sad realizing he won't have a chance to play that part again. I want to go see the movie again and can't wait for it to come out on DVD!

After seeing this movie I can only say the hype was not enough. Christian Bale's moodiness continues to do justice to the Batman character. Heath Ledger's Joker was so psychotic, so evil that it was enthralling and grotesque at the same time. The future performances of what might have been from this talented and versatile actor is truly a great loss. I could have sat through another 2 1/2 hours of this movie.

Very well directed. The sound created a thick suspense to heightened parts of the movie. Heath Ledger should definitaly be nominated, some of the best acting that I have ever seen for such a delusional character. Excellent.

Greatest Hero Movie Ever !!!
The perfomances, plot, and writing was incredible. On the drive home after the preview I just had to text everyone and tell them how fantastic it was. Loved the pencil trick and you will too.

I enjoy this movie from the beginning to the end, a lot of action, graphics were excellent, the story developed in a very clear manner and there were some romantic or human touching in the movie. I hope the other movies to follow will be as good as this one.

Heath Ledger put it down as the Joker. Although, I will always love Jack in this role, Heath took it to levels that I couldn't even imagine. May he rest in peace...I know it's sounds trite, but I this was definitely an Oscar worthy performance.

This is, in my honest opinion, the best of any of the Batman franchises hands down. All of the actors fit in their roles so well. It almost makes you forget that they are acting. The action is amazing. Not only is it well done, but it doesn't "drown" you. I mean, there's a lot of it, but it is well spaced throughout the movie. A perfect balance of action and storytelling

I've always been a fan of Batman and especially Batman Begins. The Dark Knight was probably the best movie that I've ever seen. It was great from start to finish. Heath Ledger was unbelieveable as the Joker. This is what this character should have always been. I plan on seeing this movie a few more times.

As a psychological thriller, exploring the depths of human experience and the origins of Bruce Wayne's transformation from billionaire playboy to protector of the people, I have to say that "Batman Begins" has the edge over "Dark Knight."
With Wayne's deeper and darker motivations already established, "Knight" continues the exploration of his temptation to turn to the dark side, led into this valley of temptation by his own personal emissary from Satan, The Joker. Christian Bale's performance is outstanding but Heath Ledger's "Joker" , just as everyone has already heard, steals the show. In fact, Ledger's performance steals the show from every film I have seen this year.
Despite the Academy's reluctance to give an Oscar to a deceased actor, I don't see how they can possibly avoid it. An okay actor (Sorry, the buzz around Brokeback was mere titillation; the acting was good but not exceptional.), Ledger delivered the performance of a lifetime. Had he lived another 60 years, I doubt he could have replicated this one.
See it. On as big a screen as you possibly can.

If you like Batman, go see this movie. If you like mob movies or crime drama's, go see this movie. I was worried that with all the hype that the movie wouldn't be able to live up to it. BUT IT DID. It supassed everything said about it. I saw it at the midnight showing on Thursday, and I'm going back Sunday to see it again.

Plot was awesome. Though it was extremely long, I found the editing to be a bit choppy. Characters were well defined within the 150 minutes. Joker was played amazingly by Ledger. If the character is to appear in another sequel, the only one that can give a performance almost up to par with Ledger would be Johnny Depp. He is just as disturbed as the Joker and as convincing as Heath (will truly be missed). I still think Bale is a great actor, but not my vision of the greatest comic book character of all time. His upper lip is a dead giveaway no matter what mask he wears. Overall the movie was worth the ticket and the wait.

this movie was great the joker was basically the main character of the whole movie there were alot of action surprises everywhere. The Joker was the way he was suppose to be from the beginning a real psycho who didn't care for anybody not even himself Two-Face was alright in the movie but batman and the joker took the cake on this one. I didn't expect the movie to be so long even tho it was i loved every minute of it. All in all it's a must see for fans and movie lovers alike
