We all enjoyed this movie. Heath did a great job as the joker, and will never be remembered for any other role than this for me. A must see in the theater...nothing beats the big screen for a great movie like this and it was the 2nd movie I saw this summer in the theater. Next week will be the X-Files!!!

Heath Ledger gave an awesome performance in this movie. There was a star cast and the plot line did not leave you hanging. The action scenes were insane! There was not a moment I was bored.

Yea, this movie was great. Like everyone else is saying, it's probably the best superhero movie ever made and also a really great crime movie as well. Has so many elements of different genres with incredible performances by pretty much the entire cast. Go see this movie!

This movie is an amazing ride start to finish! Not once do you check your watch to see how much is left. All the performances were excellent . Heath's was Oscar worthy no matter what the circumstances. The new Batman isn't trying to add the "whams" and "zaps" of the old shows . This movie takes it to another level. It's too bad Heath can't joker it up in a sequel.

With a much more intricate plot than the first, the Dark Knight delivers intense suspense with heart racing action. Heath Ledger makes the Joker role his own with dark humor and powerful delivery. It was a tad long but never felt like the story dragged.

This movie was by far one of the best I have ever seen. Ledger did an amzing job of playing the joker. I was very impressed by his performance. The joker is a disturbing and psychotic villan. Christian Bale did an excellent job of portraying Bruce Wayne for the second time. This is a must see!

I was a little leary of seeing the movie after all the hype....You always seem to get let down.....but The Emmy goes to....Heath Ledger. A very good movie overall...The special effects keep getting better and better. Was definitely worth seeing in the theaters. The ending was not what I expected!

Simply incredible. It's not often that a sequel outshines the film that came before it, but this series continues to evolve in tone, subject matter, action, and performance. Exceptional acting all around. And Heath Ledger's take on the Joker will go down as one of the all-time great portrayals of a psychopath and THE definitive version of the Joker.

Personally I thought it was a great movie. Typically I won't go see comic book movies but I did see Batman a few years ago and now this one and was entertained and enjoyed both of them. Heath Ledger was amazing as the Joker!! Even if you don't like the movie it's worth the money to see him play that character. He did an excellent job!

The plot is heavily focused on the joker, played by Heath Ledger...spectacular job, brilliant! The movie is as dark a picture as everyone has painted. Despite being quite long, the viewer left the theatre wanting more. I took two 12 year olds and my wife. We were so riveted, we didnt move from our seats despite really needing a bathroom break. I am not sure that I would recommend this for really young kids...under 8. The joker doesnt have a good bone in him. Even Batman does some questionable things in the name of right. That's speaking for the young ones who might get confused. Otherwise, the story and the effects were awesome. There are so many different sequel directions its pointless to speculate. Just sit back and wait, it shouldnt be too long esp since the movie execs delayed this one due to Heath Ledger's unfortunate death. Probably will see this again...almost never do that!

This really is as good as you've heard it is. The special effects should satisfy any fan of action movies, and the overall themes are much deeper and thoughtful than earlier "Batman" movies. (If you thought "Batman Begins" was superior to other movies of the comic book genre, you'll really appreciate "The Dark Knight.") Although the story line can be a bit confusing at times, it doesn't distract much from the movie. And the performances are outstanding. Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart, Michael Kane and Maggie Gyllenhaal are so good in their roles. But by far, the most amazing is Heath Ledger as The Joker. He is so wholly evil and so self-aware of it that you're totally drawn into the character and its importance to the movie. It's unfortunate that some reviews and articles about "The Dark Knight" focus more on Ledger's untimely death. I don't at all mean to minimize the loss. But as you're watching, it's honestly possible to enjoy the movie and be completely amazed by his performance while sadly realizing that his talent was clearly limitless. And you can tell he had a lot of fun with it. I think he would have wanted people to appreciate the movie and leave thinking about how his take on The Joker embodies evil in our world.

I am a huge Christian Bale fan so I was going to see this movie no matter what. I was expecting a lot, considering all the other reviews out there, and I was not disappointed.
Bale, Ledger, Eckhart and Oldman were all great. I feel bad for Gyllenhaal considering everyone had much more meatier roles, but she was a definite improvement over Katie Holmes.
The story was good, the acting was great and the action was outstanding. This is great summer entertainment!
RIP Heath Ledger.

As a “comic book movie" I thought everyone involved has delivered a worthy followup. The Joker and Dent’s performance couldn't have been better. The movie may have a few flaws, but The Dark Knight as close to a perfect sequel one could ever ask for. Growing up idolizing such characters it was a treat to watch. Only thing I found annoying was Christian Bale's voice as Batman. This is a must see movie!!!
