The Dark Knight

The plot is heavily focused on the joker, played by Heath Ledger...spectacular job, brilliant! The movie is as dark a picture as everyone has painted. Despite being quite long, the viewer left the theatre wanting more. I took two 12 year olds and my wife. We were so riveted, we didnt move from our seats despite really needing a bathroom break. I am not sure that I would recommend this for really young kids...under 8. The joker doesnt have a good bone in him. Even Batman does some questionable things in the name of right. That's speaking for the young ones who might get confused. Otherwise, the story and the effects were awesome. There are so many different sequel directions its pointless to speculate. Just sit back and wait, it shouldnt be too long esp since the movie execs delayed this one due to Heath Ledger's unfortunate death. Probably will see this again...almost never do that!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
