Most of the acting was dull with exception to the Joker (Heath Ledger). He gave one of the best performances I've ever experienced. The storyline was entertaining but slow at times. I found myself just waiting to see the Joker again. :)

it's a great story that would be nothing without all the characters bringing it to life. Good vs evil is old hat, why good continues to be good and how does evil take shape, that's the extra mile that is brilliantly interwoven in the script. No one has to explain it to you, it is all in the delivery of the lines & interaction of the actors. Well done!

I'll keep this short-- outstanding cinematography, costumes and characters. Ledger as the Joker was incredible; his portrayal will live on as the best one yet. I can't wait for the next one!

I was completely impressed that the director of this movie did not bend to the Hollywood tradition of sequels. This movie did not fall short! Excellent back story, Heath Ledger will be missed sorely. His character was a stand out performance. Anyone that loves a good movie with outstanding action and a plot that is just as good as the action should see this film. This will be on of the few that I will add to my collection once its released to disc.

The movie was awsome not only was the action good but the subplots and storylines required some mental intellect to keep up with it. As far as I know it stayed pretty close to the comic books I read as a kid. Go check it out!!!

I have seen this Movie twice already and still can't wait to see it again. The performance by Heath Ledger is amazing. To me it is not your typical Super Hero Movie. It is more like a Crime/Thriller Movie with Batman and The Joker in the mix.

The Dark Knight was flawlessly priceless in the interpretaion of the source material. Ledger's interpretation of the Joker showed the depths of the masterpieces we will be deprived from his loss. It was a mastierpiece and the best that I have experienced this summer in the theater.

The Dark Knight is well worth the all the hype it received months before it's release. The directors use of IMAX technology during city pans create an almost surreal picture (even on a regular screen). Heath Ledger's performance is absolutely perfect for the role. He fits the role of the Joker as if it was created for him and not the other way around.
I've already seen this movie twice, and believe me, I'll be seeing it again. I have yet to go to the actual IMAX Experience, and man am I looking forward to that.

Heath Ledger absolutely steals this movie by taking on the persona of the Joker. His Oscar worthy performance of his portrayal of Joker's merrily insane criminality will never again be done with the same style and perfection. This movie rocks the viewer with explosions, panoramic views, chase scenes, gadgets galore, and fine acting by all involved. Hopefully, now that they've achieved the right formula for the Batman series, we can expect to see Christian Bale in several more Dark Knight installments.

The person I saw it with said, "It was a little long." I said, "What would you cut out?" No answer. Turns out, she just had to go pee. So, maybe you shouldn't drink a large diet coke during the movie.
My only complaint about this movie is that I thought Batman's voice was too over the top. I get why they did it, but I'm not sure it worked. Other wise, this is an excellent film.
The best part about the movie is that it's a superhero film but it feels like an action-thriller. It takes itself completely seriously. There's no camp and very little tongue-in-cheek humor, if any. I love that. It makes all other superhero films look like cartoons. Spiderman, Superman, the Hulk, X-men. I'd probably let my kids see all of those. But, I wouldn't let them watch this one or Batman Begins. (They're under 10, both.)
What is really impressive is how many top-notch actors are in these films. It shows that they are all taking the film seriously. Amazing acting throughout, and not just from Heath Ledger. No one is phoning in a performance here. Everything on this film is absolutely spot-on.
Worst part of the movie? The end and we have to wait years for the sequel.

The Dark Knight is not just a great comic book movie but a great movie. Their is never a dull moment in the movie, the storyline is great. Heath Ledger was great as the Joker but all the acting was terrific. You'll be so into the movie that you wont know its 2 and half hours until you leave the theatre. This is the best movie I have seen in years.
