Excellent movie. Even though its two and a half hours long, this movie flows so well that it did not seem that long. Excellent story line and acting throughout. Heath Ledger was incredible and its unfortunate that his life had to end after his best performance. I am definitely going to go see it again!!!

This movie was awesome! I can't believe the magnitude of this movie! Christopher Nolan really outdid himself with this movie. I just can't believe Heath Ledger is dead though. He will ALWAYS be the joker, the BEST joker! The best line in the movie was the MAGIC TRICK. That was the best line EVER!!!

I was part of the Viral campaign (why so serious) and all the stuff they had us do and the free stuff we got. it just made me love this movie even more. if they do the 3rd dark knight i hope the do the viral campaign. this movie met all my expectations and i cant wait for the next one thank you.

I found the first half of the movie to be better than the second half. It kind of dragged at times and some of the story and characters were a little muddled. Overall the movie was good, but not one of the "best of all time" as I have seen other people state on here. I liked Ironman much more.
What did stand out was a fantastic performance by Heath Ledger. He absolutely dominated the performances in this movie. I am sure he will be nominated for Best Supporting Actor and I believe he will win based on the movies I have seen so far this year.
In conclusion, The Dark Knight is well worth seeing. And it is a must-see for the incredible performance of Heath Ledger as the Joker. But go to see it with "normal" expectations and you just might be pleasantly surprised.

ll I have to say about TDK is WOW! It was sooo good! This is DC's Iron Man. I wanted to get back in line and see it again. When the movie ended, everyone clapped, then the kid sitting next to me, turns to me and says, that was good. lol
It didn't even feel like a super hero movie, more like a police crime drama. If they would have changed all the names and were regular people. The movie would still have been pretty awesome. It just happens that the main characters are super heroes and super villains. I can't see how Christopher Nolan can top this one.
All the acting was great from everyone. Heath Ledger, totally was the Joker. Deadly serious and funny like a homicidal maniac. The story and writing was pretty tight. No slow downs at all. A couple of surprises that threw me. I really liked the ending, it gave me chills.
I was also surprised by the positive message in TDK. I wasn't expecting anything. It kind of makes me want to be a better person. lol
The only one complaint is Batman's voice. It was kind of districting and hard to understand at times.

I thought the movie was great even sititng in the third row. Recommend getting to the theater early to get a good seat. Heath Ledger did an amazing job as the Joker. The best Joker ever. Also I was very impressed with Christian Bale as Batman. I hadnt seen him in the last one he did. Even though the movie was 2.5 hours you were kept involved in the movie the entire time. I am going to see it again to see what I missed by sitting so close

This movie lives up to the hype. All the perrformances are top notch and Heath Ledger deserves all the praise he's received for his pscyhotic portrayal of the Joker. The story is well done and the special effects do not take over the movie.

If you are looking for an action packed blockbuster, this movie does not disappoint. Heath Ledger does a great job portraying a The Joker in a new light. He is a dark and suicidal joker, nothing like any other character in a Batman movie before. These newer Batman movies are much darker than the old movies, much more like the comic book. The only criticism I have is that when Christian Bale talks in his really raspy voice to disguise who he is, it makes me want to laugh.

This movie belongs to Heath Ledger. Frankly, it was one of the greatest performances I have ever seen in a movie - on the same level as Marlon Brando in the "Godfather." The Dark Knight deserves 5 stars for his performance alone.
This film is not for children under 10, although it's not especially bloody or profane. But if you are scared of clowns, STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!

Great movie. I can't say enough good things about this film. I saw it at 3:15 Friday morning and again on Saturday morning. It was great seeing it with a sold out audience. The acting by everyone was superb. I can't wait until this comes out on DVD to see what extra's they added.

Overall an ok Batman movie. Batman's cheesy acting and bad voice change was terrible. It brought the movie down. Riddler on the other hand was excellent. The only saving grace for this film was the villains acting and all the action. The Ironman movie was way better. This movie was over hyped, and too long. Christian Bale performed better in the last Batman movie, and this was by far Heath Ledger's best performance. It's too bad they can't do a spin-off staring him as Riddler. Now that would have been cool, and deserving of the hype they created for this movie.
