Well worth the crowds. Haven't seen crowds like that since original Star Wars movies. Christian Bale as Batman is the best and of course, Heath Ledger as the Joker is phenominal. Have there ever been posthumous Best Actor Academy Awards?

I would definitely recommend this movie. In my opinion it is the best super hero movie, in a while. Heath Ledger plays a great role, I am a big Jack Nicholson fan, But I believe This Joker has the Title.

So sad that Ledger is gone, because that is one of the best performances I've ever seen. I wish he was still around to know how much so many of us loved his Joker. Actors like Tom Cruise, with all that money, have never even come close to what he did.
The movie was absolutely amazing. The Joker, was a genius.

Batman Begins began the road to revitalize an ailing and frankly tormented movie series. Batman began to suffer from his own success. However with a more adult oriented and darker tone, Batman Begins and Dark Knight give you very good character studies. Nolan, Bale, and Ledger present to you the story of two sides of the same coin as the clash on morally opposite desires. Ledger's Performance is noteworthy and Bale is no slouch in the acting department either. The beautiful landscapes of Hong Kong and Gotham City take a back seat to the overall tale of how society will force a man no matter how good to bend one way. In all dark knight provides an experience of reading an entire six issue series of comic books on screen and for that it is to be commended and respected. see this movie if you want to get a look into the minds of four men that will stop at nothing to shape the soul of a city. But most of all see this movie if you want to feel the weight of the choices that four men make.

I liked most the "twinning" that took place on a number of levels -- Batman/Joker, Batman/Harvey Dent, civilians on the ferry/prisoners on the ferry. Heath Ledger did a great job in creating a character that was not only nasty but who also was able to get under Batman's skin and bring out the outlaw nature that united the two of them.

Honestly Ledger's performance of the Joker is by far the most superior of any in the history of Batman. I know that some people may think that it is only because we all feel bad for his death but it truly just isn't the case. The movie would have been another decent comic book movie but Heath Ledger did disgustingly phenomenal. The only bad performance was that of Maggie Gyllenhaal. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD. I will for sure buy it on it's release date.

The best Batman movie made so far. From the very begining to the end this movie moved right along. There was absolutely no lag during the entire 2 hours and 36 minutes. The door has been left open for other Batman characters to entire upon the stage. I wouldn't hesitate to go and see any additional Batman movies of this calibur.

Chilling. Suberb acting across the board. Standout Joker: Heath Ledger's is mesmerizing in a disturbing performance channeling despair into a total lack of remorse for all life. At times very hard to watch.
The best Batman - sure without question because it is amazing moviemaking. The other Batman movies stand on their own as entertainment. This movie uses Batman as a vehicle for a more desperate message.
Looking forward to seeing the movie again in IMAX.

Heath Ledger was great! He should definitely get an Oscar nod and there should never be another Joker. The movie itself was a bit too long but overall I liked it and would recommend that it be seen by a mature audience who can tolerate the violence.

The movie did not disappoint when it came to action. I said, "Wow" out loud many times. I only wish they would have shown the origin of the joker. He was still a mystery at the end of the movie. We got to see Two Faces origin, but the joker, as entertaining as he was, was still a mystery. Now that Heath Ledger is gone, they will have to find a suitable replacement.

This movie was freaking amazing. I was so hooked into it right from the beginning and so was everyone else. the story was awesome. special effects we great. heath Ledger was PERFECT as the joker. its amazing how he completely transformed himself for this role, he was out of his mind, funny, crazy ,insanely perfect . I cant describe it you just have to see it. I am definitely recommending it to friends. I am even gonna go see it again.Totally awesome.

Movie was great. Not as good as Batman Begins; but still, it's a great film. Christian Bale is as great as ever; Maggie Gyllenhaal is a much better "Rachel Dawes"; and Heath Ledger is the best joker ever.
