Refreshing, Well Acted, Thought-out

While many people were expecting Brian Singer to impose his will; Mathew Vaughn has taken the franchise in a good direction. The movie set during the Cuban MIssle crisis adds a sense of urgency and need for extraordinary people to rise to meet the need for their abilities.
The movie is well acted with McAvoy and Fassbender chewing up the scenery with their composed and straightforward diction and bromance that manages to form in the months the movies cover. The two actors are complimented by Kevin Bacon's Bondesque Sebastian Shaw who thoroughly enjoys being a bad guy.
Go into the movie with few expectations and be surprised at how much you get out of it. It is a welcome addition to the series and it also acts to correct some mistakes in X-3 and Wolverine Origins. Go see this movie!!

Sam rami at his best.

I have always been a fan of Sam Rami movies, but after spider man 3 i wasn't sure if he could be the same person. Drag me is in the same vein of Army of Darkness. Its campy, its chilling, its downright funny. IT is n interesting take on the consequences of the choice that we make in our everyday lives. It may be attempting to be something more than it is, but i admit it does not leave you wanting. It is a satisfying movie with enough to keep you interested.

This movie does not give you a hangover

Wow, all i can say is wow. This movie was the funniest comedy i have seen in a movie theater in a while. With enough plausible acts to make you question if this all wasn't inspired by a true story, Hangover is one of those comedies that will leave you wanting more. GO see this moive.

The Dark Wonder

Batman Begins began the road to revitalize an ailing and frankly tormented movie series. Batman began to suffer from his own success. However with a more adult oriented and darker tone, Batman Begins and Dark Knight give you very good character studies. Nolan, Bale, and Ledger present to you the story of two sides of the same coin as the clash on morally opposite desires. Ledger's Performance is noteworthy and Bale is no slouch in the acting department either. The beautiful landscapes of Hong Kong and Gotham City take a back seat to the overall tale of how society will force a man no matter how good to bend one way. In all dark knight provides an experience of reading an entire six issue series of comic books on screen and for that it is to be commended and respected. see this movie if you want to get a look into the minds of four men that will stop at nothing to shape the soul of a city. But most of all see this movie if you want to feel the weight of the choices that four men make.

Golden all over

Hellboy two is a departure from its predecessor in almost every way. this moive takes all the good parts of the first one and enhances it tenfold. I see that Mignola and Del Torro really love the ins and outs of this character. The movie also adds a flair of slapstick to lighten up the often dire mood. The elve prince is absolutely delightful to watch. His grace and power add to the general enjoyment of this movie. Also go see it to hear Seth McFarlane with a German accent.

Good but lacking

The moive is good, but it lacks just a bit of substance. I see that there is a lot of heart in the mvoie but there were many conjoined parts of good stories that sometimes did not add up. However if you like action and funny things being said this moive is for you

Action and some substance

Wanted, a graphic novel written by Mark millar and drawn by J.G. Jones made a big dent in the comic world. Its live action counterpart will as well. James Macevoy and Jolie make a great onscreen couple while also lending a sense of credence to the action moves that they pull off. However, if you expect tights and supervillians, this may not be the same wanted. This however is a good movie that is faimialr enough to the source material. the moive takes all of the good parts of the book and expands upon it, However the moive diverges in certain aspects that does not diminish its quality. If you lie high flying action with substance then this film is a must see. If you are looking for tights, wait till July 18. However wanted is a movie for the action lover and the office cubicle runner in all of us. see this movie and then find out who you are.

Got it by that much

while not a true interpretation of the show, this version of agent 86's journey was an enjoyable and truly wonderful experience. Max is more naive than inept in this Get Smart. Thus leading you to believe that he is capable of becoming a truly remarkable spy. Hathaway's 99 while showing the obvious difference in age is nothing short of spectacular as she separates herself from her natural princess diary role to a more action oriented role. She and Carrell often have good comedic chemistry but love chemistry is often questionable. However setting that aside, Dwayne Johnson, Arkin, and even Masi oka provide laughs and enough straight man time to spotlight Carrells deadpan comedy. Go see this movie for laughs and for honest heart string pulls as we all want what Maxwell Smart wants, a chance to be something more.
