It's been several years since I've seen a movie this good in the theaters. Don't worry about the hype. This Batman goes above and beyond the hype. There's only one problem with this movie. Can they make another Batman movie as good as this? It's going to be nearly impossible to top it.

This movie was action packed from beginning to end!! Introducing Two_Face and his makeup, WOW. But Heath Ledger's performance was crazy like Jack Nicholson in "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest". Impeccable!!!

"SuperHero" tale, but that's incidental.
Superbly intense acting. But what were
they thinking when they rated it PG13?!

The Dark Knight is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Jack Nicholson did an wonderful job as the first Joker. Heath Ledger however, gave one of the most amazing performances. There were very few instances that I would have even known that is who I was watching. Definitely one that I will be going back to see.

This movie is the best movie I have ever seen! It is much more than your regular "popcorn flick." The acting is perfect, the action sequences are fast paced, and the plot is well thought out with some big twists.
While the movie is rated PG-13, it is still very intense. There is little blood, but the Joker's actions are disturbing. The Joker's and Two-Face's appearances alone are enough to disturb people. I would not recommend taking children to this movie.
This is a movie that should not be ignored once the Oscars come around. Heath Ledger has redefined what it takes to play a villain and should be recognized for it.

The Dark Knight did not disappoint but I may be one of the few people who liked it who does not think it was better than the last one. I would definitely recommend it to everyone who likes a good super hero movie and to people who liked the last one. Batman Begins was a 5 Star picture and while I really, really liked this one I simply don't think it was better. Heath Ledger was absolutely mesmerizing and if I have any complaint it's that I would have liked to see more of him. Even though the movie was over two and a half hours long it didn't seem like it but at the same time it seemed that they were trying jam too much mayhem into the movie. They could have scaled it back a little and it would have been fine with me.

If you're a fan of Batman, Heath Ledger, or Crime dramas, this movie is for you. As a fan of all three, and of the director, this is easily one of my favorite movies, not just this year, but of all time. Definately worth watching again in the theaters just for Ledgers performance of the Joker.

Overall, the movie was good (though a little too long). Cut out some of the similar-looking action/blow 'em up scenes and cut it down a little. Even though I think Tom Cruise is psycho (and Katie Holmes is crazy for staying with him so long), I prefer her to Maggie G. in the Batman movies. Katie & Christian = real chemistry. Maggie & Christian = snoozer. She's just not attractive enough for him. She'd be the "just buddies" kind of girl for him, not someone he'd ever truly fall in love with. Casting on that part was poor. Everything else = great! And A++ to Heath. He deserves the nomination. He was so good I wouldn't have even known it was him unless I'd heard all the publicity about it beforehand. Excellent!
