As a lifelong Star Trek fan I appreciate this new movie. They pretty much nailed all the characters with the exception of Chekov. A few oddities and bloopers, like starships going to warp drive right out of Earth orbit (a definite no-no!). And a bit unclear at times about the time-travel aspect. But a great setup for the next one!

A deep look at how people become evil,
and how good people commit evil when
they try to fight evil. Happens to be a
"SuperHero" tale, but that's incidental.
Superbly intense acting. But what were
they thinking when they rated it PG13?!
It's an R for sure.
