The Dark Knight is simply an amazing movie. There is little more that I can say other than that. It takes comic book movies to a whole new level with the acting, producing, and writing of a film. I don't even consider Batman a super hero in the traditional sense because he is just a regular guy who happens to be extremely rich. But as far as sweet comic book movies go, this one is right at the top and I'm a HUGE Spider-man fan so it stings a little bit to admit it.

The Dark Knight is far beyond any other superhero genre movie and is the best movie of the year and probably the best since the Departed. See this movie, Heath Ledger is incredible, action is great, preformances are good and the entire movie is tense and suspenceful. i tried to watch the original Batman from 89 after i saw this but i had to turn it off because it sucks compared to the Dark Knight. Stop reading reviews and see it.

This moview was great.
The Joker was fantastic. He portrayed the character as he should be portrayed, very dark, sinister, and diabolic.
The story was good, the action was good, and the side story with Harvey Dent was good.
It had unexpected outcomes, and twists and turns along the way.
It was amazing how dark of a movie this was for a summer blockbuster. Judging by the records it has set at the box office, this has not turned off viewers.
All in all, it was a great ride and a great addition to a solid superhero movie franchise.

This is a great movie. The thing that makes it is the Joker. Heath was fantastic in the way he did the Joker. Without him, it would have been a "good" move but not great. It does seem to lag in the last 30 minutes, but picks up at the end.

"The Dark Knight" is one of the best comic-based movies to date. I am a big Batman fan and I am very pleased with the direction that Nolan has taken the franchise. The new sequel is a balanced mix of great action and acting.

There are so many moments where everyone in the theater just go "AAWW....." together. And again, so many where everyone just laughs together at something.
Definitely worth paying to go see, more than once!

I just was not that impressed with this movie.. I think it should be rated PG-17. Most of my friends wouldn't go see this show much less take their children.. The title fits the show that's for sure..

As a huge Batman fan - I was not disappointed by this movie in any way! A must see for anyone who likes a good flick. Jokers character is unbelievable and very Joker like. Heath Ledger did a great job. Aaron Eckhart did a wonderful job as Harvey. Many twists and turns which I did not expect even with all of the reviews I read on this movie. Great stunts and special effects. Could tell that Mr. Nolan does not like green screens which I do not either. Christian Bale is the new great Batman - best performance since Michael Keaton! Will see this one again and again. Cannot wait for the DVD and see what extras they will throw in

What an amazing movie. For those that are fans of the franchise, this should become your most favorite film to date. The cinematography is amazing and the story will keep you guessing until the very last frame. Christian Bale is "the" Batman, but Heath Ledger should get the most respect (albeit, post-mortem) for his outstanding performance as the Joker. It is a shame that those two will not be able to hit the screen together again. This is not for your kids, parents. This is definitely an adult PG-13 film, the best you will probably see this year.

Okay so first off, I read the reviews on this movie and saw all of the talk about Heath Ledger and I wondered if it was Hollywood hype or for real (I really thought it was hype). Then after seeing it...what a performance! Second, this movie, I felt, left the first one lacking. How often can you really say that? Really keeps moving the whole way through, has a solid story and really award worthy acting from the majority of characters. See it, pretty sure you will like it.

Visually stunning movie... action-packed from the opening scene. Heath Ledger is amazing, as are all the actors. I do not agree that this movie is TOO dark and therefore not entertaining. I enjoyed every minute and thought it was just right. I did not see it in IMAX the first time, but can't wait to next time around.
