I have to say I wasn't all too thrilled about seeing this movie at first, however it was a really great movie! The action was awesome. It kept you in suspense the entire time. And the cameo appearances were fantastic. My husband says it is so much better than the first one (I never saw the first one) and he would recommend anyone to see it. We also took our 6 1/2 year old daughter. She loved it too. Only one scene we had to close her eyes on..it was a great movie!!! Do not miss it...

If you're a fan of the comic book fan, The Incredible Hulk is a must see. The Abomination come to life on the big screen was worth the price of admission, and the script was more tailored for an action movie, with thrills and some light-hearted moments (instead of being an in-depth character study, like 2003). Also, I thought this film did a better job of explaining the relationship between the characters early on, instead of playing a guessing game until the end of the film. Having said that, I think the film could have been better, and that's where some of the ideas from the 2003 Ang Lee version might have helped this film. First of all, the animation was much better in the '03 film, and this cannot be discounted when the main character is a 10 foot tall green body builder. After watching the '03 film again after seeing this new version, there's no comparison in the animated Hulk. His movements, and the attention to detail were more realistic (fluid) and gratifying in '03. Had this level of detail been achieved in the '08 version the movie would have been much better. One other thing that the '03 Hulk accomplished better was the relationship between Bruce (Hulk) and Betty. It showed her as a calming influence on him (although it went too far into psychosis and repressed memories). And that the Hulk gets stronger as he gets angrier, which is why he is near impossible to contain. Overall, though I'm happy with this version. Having Tony Stark cameo at the end was certainly appealing, and makes me pine for the next film!

I was so sceptical about buying tix for this movie. The first "Hulk" movie done with Eric B and made by artistically inclined Ang Lee, Killed the genre for me. I am a HUGE Marvel Hero enthus...and I just couldn't take another sucky remake. But this one... OMG, so frickin good. Believably close to the story line. Edward is a fabulously character actor and this role's another one of his bests. Hey! Liv Tyler was beautiful but sappy at times, and Tim Roth was over the top many times, but over all the action was non-stop, the movie flowed continuously, and the dialogue was never boring. And the CGI Hulk? Was he awesomely done or what? Seeing Tony Stark at the end, Lou F and Stan Lee were my favorite highlights...They even through in a scene from The Courtship of Eddie's Father on the screen for a nano...How Hot is that? See this movie!!! A Sequel with more than one Marvel hero or even Villian is eminent!

I took four of my grandchildren ....three of them boys and one a girl.....they all loved this movie....at times it kept them on the edge of their seats and I was right along with them.....considering I don't usually enjoy action films....this was incredible

This Hulk movie did a good job of reconciling the TV series, comics, and other Hulk "lore." This Hulk movie certainly gave the Hulk feel and what would desired by a fan, including many cross references and "easter eggs." Though using a lot of CGI, the acting was what would be desired and redeemed the large use of CGI. Usually, I am not a big fan of the Hulk, but this movie definitely piqued my interest and has brought me back to liking the Hulk. I am comfortable saying that this Hulk will do for the Hulk franchise what Batman Begins did to the Batman franchise. Between Hulk and Iron Man, I am greatly looking foward to the sequels, Nick Fury, the X-Men spin-offs and the Avengers. Defintely a go see.

With the exception that the face of the "Hulk" is still way to "Pretty" for the old and dare I say Ugly master of mayhem,...(and the doo is a bit too stylish as well) this is the best rendition of the Hulk yet....(the TV version was a joke, altho Ferigno saved face in this one,......and the first movie had great effects but compared to this, well,.......) anyway, the story line is very much like the original comic strip would have had it and the characters were absolutely on target...but best of all was the surprize ending......and if you havn't seen it I won't give it away,...I'll just say I am on the edge of my seat waiting to hear about the sequel....if the end of this one was any indication,..we're in for a real treeat when it comes out. (I am dying to know who he meant by "We" ...your gonna have to see this flick to find out what I mean)

This was a very GOOD movie. It outshadows the previous version by far. There were some akward scenes that were a little corny, thus keeping the 5th star from being checked, but overall better than most. Cannot wait until the Avengers!

This was a vastly superior revision of the original Ang Lee 2003 wimper. I was skeptical that any motion picture studio would attempt to recover a lost franchise after one botched attempt. The movie was stellar and movied quite quickly while building the characters and explaining the plight of Dr. Ross and Dr. Banner. All the acting was stellar accompanied only by very good looking CG and effects. All in all the movie was quite fun and exciting, a thrill ride with a unique, marvel style twist ending. Enjoy!

This movie is awesome! I was expecting this movie to be better than the 2003 three outing of the Hulk this one blew that away like shooting a turkey with a bazooka. The action scenes were awesome!!! I loved the scene of bruce walking down the street with the Lonely Man theme playing it was awesome and the cameos by Lou Ferrigno and Stanlee. So I say you better go see this movie or I will get angry. So please, Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I am angry.

I put this movie up with Iron Man! with an Actor like Edward Norton, I knew this was going to be something special. The battle scenes were a thousand times better than the first Hulk. The movie kept moving, there were no slow parts. If you miss it on the big screen, you'll miss how this movie should be seen!

I must say, this installation of the the Hulk franchise was great. I could understand it verses that one that came out 6 years ago. I was/am a fan of the TV series (even have the VCR tapes to prove it) and this movie felt as though I were watching the TV series. I wish I had read the comics (I'm bummed about that). The humor was great; not corny at all. The action was great (but I'd like to know how the tamed The Abomination). Sorry though -- Betty Ross was way too wispy for me. That airy, incredibly soft voice was annoying. To be the daughter of a general and a woman with tons of intelligence, she sounded like a whiny school girl. Grow some Betty! Edward Norton has yet to fail me! He's a great actor! His great writing and his ability to tell a story were great (I understand his frustrations though - but it was good none-the-less). The Incredible Hulk is a hero. The cameos were on point. Man I miss Bill Bixby! This is a must see for those who love the Incredible Hulk and for those who love action. I still think movies are overpriced, but I'm not disappointed I paid $10 to see it.

A recurring formula for Marvel films. Conflicted/reluctant hero, beautiful girl in jeopardy, add one or more megalomaniacal villains and some impressive CGI and let boil for two hours. This movie has fun moments and Edward Norton does a good job with what it is. Which is a non-cerebral special effects laden and ultimately forgettable experience. There are worse things to see, and I'm sure we will, probably from Marvel.
