This movie was really great but it could have been better. I like that they spent so allot of time on suit design and things like that but this came at the expense of long fight scenes. In my opinion you could really tell that there would be a sequel in the near future.

I would almost recommend this movie because of Robert Downey Jr.'s acting ability and for the first half of the film I felt entertained. But I have to turn it down because of the Hollywood ending. (The last half hour was all too familiar and just painful to watch!!)

Lived up to the hype. I've been drooling over the promos for months. Great script, superb effects, and great actors not hamming it up just because it's a "comic" movie. Good for 8 to 80!

Great movie! Jeff Bridges plays a villian extremely well in this movie, didn't really expect that. Could have been a lot more action as opposed to dialogue, but I'm assuming being the first in a series about Iron Man, more dialogue was neccesarry. I'm not a comic book geek/fan but you don't need to be to enjoy a great movie like this.

This movie focuses on character development rather than explosions. The dialog is very well written and funny and Robert Downey Jr. is amazing in it. Great job Jon Favreau! You did comics justice.

I really really enjoyed this movie, it had a great story line, great laughs, great sound affects and great actors.......Can't wait to get this on DVD.

I saw this film opening night and was blown away by the sheer excellence of it. From Robert Downey Jr.'s solid character performance to the spectactular effects, this film has it all. Iron Man has a well rounded display of CGI (it was amazing!), editing, cinematograhphy, colors, character development, plot line, and casting. I highly recommend this film to anyone! For the sake of kids seeing the film, it does have a brief bedroom scene and mild cursing, so parents, please take that into consideration when taking your family. I can't say enough good about the film, so I believe you'll just have to see it for yourself.

I can honestly say that Iron Man was an awesome movie to watch. All action packed and the story line was great! Received thumbs up from comic book fans as well. Infact, it was so well written that I can't wait for Part 2!

Iron man was a great movie. The action sequences were as good as to be expected, but what really made this movie a must see was the performance of Robert Downey Jr. His portrayal as Tony Stark was spot on, and his skill as an actor really turned what could have been just another popcorn flick into one of the best movies I have seen in a while.

The film presented well. There wasn't an abundance of action that at times can bury the value of comic book adaptations. The character development was more than adequate for the target of the film. One would be wise to await the end of the credits. Overall, it was good, not great, but certainly one of the better movies in this genre that i have seen since Xmen. spot on.

No one but Robert Downey Jr. could've done this role. His funny and deadpan delivery only matches the movie's action and adventure feel. Even if you're not an Iron Man fan or a comics fan for that matter, you will enjoy this movie. All the other actors also did they're fair share (even if they were upstaged EVERYtime by RDjr). Paltrow held her own and a good foreshadowing scene by Terrence. FOR SERIOUS COMICS fans---stay till after the credits have rolled to show that, pretty soon, Marvel will rule the world (at least in the cineplex) move over DC!

I took my 11 yr old Grandson, and we loved it. A bit of violence, but not more than these kids see in video games and cartoons. As my Grandson said, "It Rocked" Robert Downey, jr. did an excellent job, as did Jeff Bridges.

Was excited to see this film. Went with my 7 year old son. Some parts inappropriate for him, my mistake. Great effects, good acting. Choppy editing? The theater had poor sound and the last 10 minutes were kind of grainy (on opening day?). Hence, the title "Have to see it Twice". I will try a larger, more modern theater next time. I hope to be blown away as many people have been.

This is definitely a movie for the large screen - good special effects, non-stop action and a likable Robert Downey character. It's a really well done superhero movie that hits all the right notes. While I wasn't convinced I would like the film, after seeing the trailer I decided to go. I was VERY happy I did, and if the sequel is as good, I'll go see it immediately upon its release. I assume one is planned since we stuck around for the credits and caught that surprise last one-minute section of the film!)

My only concern going into this movie was that Robert Downey Jr. would not be a believable Ironman.....but I can honestly tell you after seeing the movie that he was the perfect actor for the role! I loved Ironman!! I can't wat for the sequel!! Go see it!

I am sorry to say that I was not that impressed with the Iron Man movie. I know an explanation of how he came about was needed but it took 75% or the movie to get him in the suit. There was not more for action scenes that was not shown on the previews.
