Good but no epic

Well done movie but will leave H.P. fans feeling down. Due to the seriousness of the subject matter, moviegoers wanting young wizards having fun at school will be let down. Readers of the novels know what to expect. It will get rougher from here until the final battle. I enjoyed the movie but won't be seeing it again until it's released on DVD.

Summer blockbusters not over. Plot was familiar and pretty far-fetched but it sure kept us on the edge of our seats. Big-time popcorn movie!

An epic adventure into the heart of darkness. Heath Ledger steals the film as the homicidal clown-prince of crime. Although there's plenty of comic book action, the film isn't recommended for the pre-teen set

Lived up to the hype. I've been drooling over the promos for months. Great script, superb effects, and great actors not hamming it up just because it's a "comic" movie. Good for 8 to 80!
