The movie itself was good (you have to love Shrek), but it was part of the Summer Movie Camp at the AMC Theaters and they clearly used a DVD and broadcast it over a movie screen. The settings were off and they were adjusting the colors during the movie. It was too dark and the colors were dull. The big reason why you bother seeing an older movie at the theater is because of the theater experience, and it was poor quality.

The theater should be more careful with childrens movies!! TOOOO many previews and commercials!!!! My son lost interest quickly! Then the settings were being adjusted during the film and the picture was very BRIGHT! We made it thru the movie but not a good AMC experience!!

Movie is a little slow for 3-5 year olds. My kids enjoyed the whole movie experience, but got a little bored in the middle. Also, the settings need to be tested before playing the movie. The contrast was too dark at the beginning and then settings were adjusted during the movie on screen which was distracting. Still not bad for $1!

7 & 4 year olds loved the movie, so did i. It has some educational moments as well. After leaving the movie, my kids asked to watch Shrek the final chapter.

I took my six year old child and while we had already seen it before, it was nice to see it in the big screen. We liked the movie, but even my child said there were too many commercials and previous before movie started which gets kids distracted. Also adjusting the settings on screen while movie is playing was very distracting

I took my 4 & 6 yr. old grandkids to see this movie. The 6 yr. old loved it, but too long at times for the 4 yr. old though he seemed to enjoy it for the most part. I liked it as well...nice family movie.

This movie sticks to what works. It is better than the second, but fails to be as funny as the first. If you liked the others, you will like this one. You have to see the others first in order to understand it!
