We saw this as a $1 movie so I can't complain about the price, but it was not anywhere close to the original in fresh ideas. My kids liked the end because of the action, it was the only time there was any action unfortunately. Sorry, I like the Shrek franchise but they should have stopped after two, the third just wasn't funny.

Agree with many of the other reviewers that this was not the best Shrek and it seemed as if there was a much better movie wanting to get out. 7 & 6 yo's liked it well enough.

I took my 7 year old grandson to this movie and he laughed and laughed. It kept him entertained after the popcorn and soda were gone. It was delightful.

Saw movie with kids during summer movie camp. Was fun to do instead of pool. Not as good as Shrek 1 or 2 but worth the time.

We saw this at AMC Columbia (MD). The color in the movie was extremely dark (despite a complaint to the staff), making it unpleasant to watch. I don't think it was as good as the earlier Shrek movies. A lot of the kids watching were very bored, evidenced by the level of noise in the theatre.

I took 6 kids to see this movie and it kept their attention the entire movie. It has enough adult humor in it to keep me interested as well. I would recomend it to others.

Me and one of my BFFS Aby rented this to see during one of our sleepovers. We started it, and 15 minutes into it, I had fallen asleep, not because I was tired, because I was bored to death! Aby had almost fallen asleep, too. We finally watched another movie, but did we have to waste the money to rent it, and the time to watch it? Wish we could take it all back!

I hated this movie, but I wouldn't say it's one of the worst films ever made. It's the worst in the Shrek saga so far, and it just makes me worry about Shrek Goes Fourth being even worse. Okay storyline, good animation, iffy ending, and leaves you a bit disappointed. I'm also tired of this "Be Yourself" moral being used in ALOT of family movies nowadays. Do you think enough people learned that? If you want to see this movie, it's not worth buying, you're better off renting it.
