good but sad story

I took my 4 year old to see this. It was much too scary for her. I liked the movie a lot, the animation was excellent. But it was so sad. I cried, even though it had a basically happy ending it was definitely a tear jerker. Makes one realize how short life is.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
