Don’t miss this film; it was engaging. The clarity and depth and color of the photography in this film very well may have been the cleanest and sharpest 3-D offering I have ever seen. Of significant note to me were the scenes of the training pool, the shuttle liftoff, the crew inside the space shuttle as it was in orbit and the crew working to effect repairs on the Hubble with the earth as a backdrop. I found those scenes real and very life-like; they were truly outstanding technical photographic shots and they were the right component parts of the story to show and tell. Hats off to Leonardo DiCaprio for his narration, for telling us the story of what it took to launch the Hubble telescope and then service it while in orbit around the earth, and to offer dialogue concerning the sprinkling of fabulous-quality Hubble Telescope space photographs throughout the film. I can’t wait for the next film…
