Absolutely amazing visuals. It is soooo saturated with color - reminded me of watching 4th of July fireworks. The details in the 3D effects are stunning.
Yes, many elements of the story have been seen before. But Cameron provides a new way of telling the story.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
