I didn't know it was 2 and a half hours until right before showtime but was surprised to find that it didn't drag at all. This one is a little less about Batman and more about the other player involved. (I think Alfred had as many lines as Bruce/Batman). Of course all the hype that you hear about Heath Ledger is totally merited. I'm looking forward to the next one and hope Batman will have a bigger part.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
