I wasn't a fan of the comic book so I didn't know what to expect. The performance by the actress playing Hit Girl is worth the price of admission alone. Some parts of the movie drag a bit, and it seems like it doesn't know whether it wants to become a drama instead of a farce.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Not the best James Bond movie by far. Wilson and Broccoli appear not to notice that the best Bond movies have always been the ones with a story that mirrors the basics from the book. This is just a generic action movie with superb actors and a poor director. Good for the action, good for Craig's acting. Bad for plot, pacing and the action edits. If you're a Bond fan, check it out at the theatre; otherwise stick to the DVD rental.
