Amusing, feel good coming of age movie - recognizing family relationships. Much of the plot is as ludicrous as the thirties' comedies, however Michael Douglas' aging Lothario is right on target and fun to watch. Anne Archer is great and sardonic. Some clever dialogue - first girlfriend "of the past" was fabulous and what a fun role for the actress.
Engrossing, detailed story with complex characters and fascinating background. Mixes plausibility with fantasy easily - but high standard of acting and interesting scenary hold your attention throughout the film. Soundtrack was particularly evocative.
