Having absolutely no background of the show in mind, I was convinced to watch this instead of another movie at the theatre. Unexpectedly, I feel in love with the story, set design, cast, and soundtrack. I had no idea Meryl Streep was such an amazing singer, and was impressed by the production quality of the audio tracks. Not over-polished, but it matches the rest of the memorable character of the movie. I was so inspired that I bought tickets for my mother and sister at a theatre across the country.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
