The Dark Knight is an excellent movie, even for those who don't like superhero movies. Seeing the movie on an IMAX screen is highly recommended, though not needed. Having seen this movie on a regular screen and an IMAX screen I can say for sure, that it is better on IMAX.
The one thing I don't like is that I cannot see Nolan having the Joker in any more movies. Heath did such an excellent job with that role, I just can't see anyone else pulling it off like he was able to.
Definitely my favorite Batman that I have seen, which I have seen all of (including the the 1966 one with Adam West) except Batman and Robin and the animated ones.
