I really liked this movie...but, honestly, other than Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker, I'm not sure it lived up to all the hype I was hearing. The Joker MADE this movie, no doubt about it. Heath Ledger was great.
Christian Bale was good, but I gotta be honest....I liked Michael Keaton's Batman better. Yeah, okay, call me crazy, if you must.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
