Corny, but kept me awake

I went to see this movie with my wife, because she's a huge fan, she'd already seen it twice but insisted I have to see it in the theatres. Bela annoyed me, the interaction between Bela and Edward was mind-numbing, much like the Sam and Frodo scenes in the last two Lord of the Rings movies. But that aside, the story was good, even if it was corny at parts. I remember laughing at scenes just because they were so bad. I can see how girls/women are into it and I am not ripping on that fact, I think it's cool that so many people are into this story. My wife promises me that the last two books were much more action packed, and that I will like them even more. To be honest I liked New Moon more than I liked Twilight.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
