This movie was one of the better action movies to come out in a long time. The acting was spot on from Christian Bale as the brooding Bruce Wayne to Heath Ledger as the deliciously twisted Joker. Throw in two extraordinary veteran actors such as Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman to add a touch of comic relief and how can you not have a knock-out hit movie? If you are coming to watch Heath Ledger's final performance, you will be delighted. I disagree that the Joker comes across as dark. He is a villian and as such must be villainous but Heath's performance is the anti-Jack Nicholson even when he's being funny. I loved the red wig! This might just be his best performance. I found the ending poignant, so you'll have to see the movie to know what I mean!
