As a fan of the old show I was excited and worried how this would turn out after so many years. But I can say for myself and even my husband that I dragged kicking and screaming to see it were pleased with what they came up with. Where would the characters be six years from where we left them on the run, having to adjust to *gasp* a "normal" life with a house and a bed. It was good to know that neither one lost their sense of humor or nerve and were a bit more assertive in what they wanted. If you're looking for fist fights and explosions see The Dark Knight, if you're looking for creepy and metaphysical as only The X-Files can do it, then defenately see this. Besides there was some good detective work and its always cool to see Scully beat someone up. Oh yeah and shippers welcome after the credits.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
