It was much anticipated and highly enjoyed! I went with friends opening night and I'll be seeing it again with my husband asap. Highly recommended.

Having read the book first, I was a little hesitant to see the movie because generally the movie is never as good as the book in my opinion. Well, this one was! I thought the characters were cast so well and it actually followed the book rather closely. The whole group I was with loved it and can't wait for the second. Very well done.

Much better than all the other Batman movies. Christian Bale & Heath Ledger were perfectly cast. Warning: not for little kids, though!
