Even people who are not Batfans will appreciate the story-telling, effects and brilliant performances. This film is serious, it's not a goofy portrayal of action heros, it really speaks to the questions of good and evil and how far we are willing to go when tested in spite of our moral code. Ledger is everything they have said. I only wish he was on the screen 100% of the time. Bale is great, Eckhart is brilliant, so is Morgan, Michael, Oldman, Chris Nolan really knows how to get a performance out of an actor - but we knew that about him. Oh and if it doesn't win best sound editing....a hugely impactful show and well worth every minute.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
