If the Lighting Director hates women (or shall we say beautiful women of a certain age), that does not bode well for a movie which should above all else, celebrate all that is female.
I don't appreciate Samantha becoming an extreme caricature, Carrie behaving like an uptight shrew (?!), Charlotte's brain leaving her body, and Miranda's part being so under written that it was actually a surprise to hear her say something intelligent! I'm angry that Michael Patrick King thought this overlong excercise in low humor, non-humor, and pseudo-drama wasn't insulting. If he didn't have any ideas, he should have taken a pass on part two. He shouldn't have made a movie that was so demeaning to characters that so many of us have come to care about!
And last, but not least, all actresses should take note of this film's lighting director. This idiot should be avoided like the plague.
