From the moment of the pencil being slammed into the table, it was clear this movie was going to be something special. Great ensemble acting by all. I was concerned about the hype regarding Heath Ledger's performance, but he was amazing. The film had a terrific story line, good special effects and story resolution. My only criticism is that I wish the film had been more tightly edited toward the end -- like 10-15 minutes shorter. I got the impression the filmmakers had invested so much in the crashes, explosions, etc., that they couldn't cut some of the superfluous footage out of the movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
