Boring and generic

I went to this movie with hopes for at least something decent, I mean, it's hard to mess up a pre-existing story, right? Well, they took everything interesting about Alice in wonderland, sexed it up, and made it incredibly generic. My girlfriend is obsessed with Tim Burton, and she was incredibly let down. Only saving grace: Anne Hathaway's ridiculous overacting was good for some laughs.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
