Absolutely phenomenal! I have seen this movie three times in the past week, and I never do that. Heath ledgers performance is unquestionably one of the greatest ever recorded. He blows away Jack Nicholson. This is a complete about face from the previous Batman movies that were more childish. This is the first in the franchise that truely is for adults. The worst thing about this movie, and in my opinion the only bad thing, was Christian Bales' performance. That silly deep voice he used while in costume was comical. Heath Ledger did so well in this movie, one can't help but to regret his passing even more, now knowing exactly how great of an actor he truely was. Whenever the joker isn't on screen I found myself waiting in anticipation for his return. The movie would have fallen apart without him.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
