Very well done...good mix of big and little stories...the BEM variation does not detract from the coming of age story, and the coming of age story does not oversyrup the thriller side. Elle Fanning is a revalation.

I cannot believe that Gondry wasted Christoph Waltz and the enourmous budget on a color-by-numbers story devoid of humour or excitement. The gratuitous carnage and sheer stupidity made it dull and dreary. The 3D did nothing to enhance the film. Best I can say is that once it was over, I knew I'd never have to see it again!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
