Awesome performances! I have been a Bale fan since "Empire of the Sun" and a Ledger fan since the TV series "Roar." The Joker was a scene stealer throughout. I was captivated by his insanity and his Hannibal Lector ability to fascinate. Even had Heath not tragically died, his portrayal of psychotic evil would be the epitomy of his career. Evil with no redeeming qualities is a tough act to follow. I enjoyed this movie immensely! I am a 61 year old grandmother of three (took a grandson to see this movie) and it has generational appeal. Aaron Eckardt is very easy on the eyes as well as Christian Bale.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
