Lucas has done it again, and that aint a good thing. We loved the original Indiana Jones movies, and were very excited to go and see this one. My expectations were high, but even if they were low, I would have come out of the theater disappointed. If you liked the Star Wars Episodes 1-3 (think Jar Jar), then you will love this movie. If you like the original Indiana Jones movies or the original Star Wars movies (Ep 4, 5, and maybe 6), you are going to walk out of this theater asking how in the world Lucas can make such master pieces and then put out such crud (crud is the word I used to pass the sensors, but I think you know what I am trying to say) as this movie. First the positives of the movie: The fight scenes are choreographed well. The villains were well cast. I really searched for a third positive, but I cannot come up with it. Needless cutesy crud, an unbelievable storyline, bad acting, and so-so special effects are only the beginning of why this movie is so bad. Like Stalone in the latest Rocky or Rambo movie, Ford should have just quit while he was ahead. If you are a die-hard fan, which if you are then you would have already seen this movie, you will probably ignore the above and see it anyway. If you are on the fence, spend your money on lottery tickets. Watching the numbers being picked is more entertaining, you could get a good ending out of it, and if all else fails, you have wasted the money either way.
Hey Hollywood! You want to know why movie sales are down. It isn't because of pirating; it is because of movies like this and the raised prices. Release some good movies and people might be willing to spend money to see them.
