Dark Knight is an extraordinary movie. The performances of the entire cast, even in the more minor roles were superb. The action was flawless and breathtaking. The time taken to develop the complexity of the lead characters and the various moral dilemmas was well worth it - and necessary as a respite from the otherwise relentless pace of the movie. As has been written so many times though, Heath Ledgers Joker was stunning. Truly a remarkable, brilliant performance. I was grabbed by him from his opening scene and he never let go. He was utterly believable as he whipped from likeable villain to merciless, evil terrorist.
Thank you Christopher Nolan and your cast of hundreds of people who helped you make this masterpiece come to life. Go see it - you will NOT be disapointed.
