Exciting movie that fades at the end

Batman Begins was an amazing addition to a long line of Batman films, and when the Dark Knight was first announced I was skeptical as to if it would live up to the expectations previously set. The movie starts off at an alarmingly fast pace, giving us no wait in seeing Gotham's new villain; the Joker. This fast pace is kept up throughout the movie making the 2 hours and 30 minutes pass very quickly, well at least until the last 20 minutes of the movie. The movie contains an intense amount of action and thrills, including an awful amount very clever cinematography. I truly believe that this movie has set the bar for not only future movies in the series, but all comic based movies as well. However amazing this movie may be I would not rate it as five stars as the ending suddenly approaches and really lets the viewer down. I feel the director/writers tried to cram in too much into the last 20 minutes and would have been a much better movie if even the last 15 minutes had been removed and adding to the next movie. Having said that, I would still go an see the Dark Knight again as it is a wonderful movie.
