Very good but not great

Loved Jeff Bridge's and can see why he could walk away with the Oscar but...and there is a but...the movie was slow and tedious at times and Maggie Gyllenhall, while a great actress was way too young for me to buy into the relationship. The story seemed to be leading up to some kind of closure but there was none and left me feeling a bit cheated.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
