The Dark Knight was the most anticipated movie of 2008. I felt it absolutely delivered and lived up to the hype on all levels. Stellar performances by all actors. However; Ledger's maniacally sinister Joker stole the show by far. I simply Loved this movie!
Very well written film portraying the complete morality and thin line between good versus evil. Batman has truly come a very long way from the "kiddie" days of Tim Burton's films. This is the Batman I've always envisioned. Christian Bale is again the best Batman ever. Great actor, very intense and solid delivery of a dark hero with a big heart. I Loved the new Batcycle and the Bat-Sonar. Excellent ultra-realistic special effects. I plan to see this movie again in IMAX. The 2.5 hrs runtime is a non-issue. Every scene is gripping. Awesome movie ! Go see this movie. You'll be glad you did.
