I was not disappointed with this movie. I love the original and was excited that this movie renewed my love for it!!

I've yet to be disappointed when seeing a Tim Burton movie! Even though this one was a tad bit dry, and some of the psychedelics I remember as a kid were toned down, i would see this movie over and over again and was glad I saw it on the big screen in 3D.
Excellent movie!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
