I really liked Batman Returns. I thought the story was great and Christian Bale did a great job. I liked the original Batman with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson but I thought the other 2 after that were a joke.
Batman Returns took this franchise into a different direction, one more serious and less cartoonish. The Dark Knight continues that trend and I thought was a great movie. Great story, excellent acting, great action. Heath Ledger was truly great. He will be greatly missed. I hope the next one is as good.
