Burning Tires

The movie Shutter Island was like a pile of burning tires. Sometimes it flares up for some excitement, mostly just smoldered and in the end just left a smell in the air. This movie is built with the premise of delivering a 67 ton plot twist but the crate was damaged during creation. You have to throw out common sense and let the movie take you on a dark ride with a confused driver at the wheel. I personally would not recommend this to my friends but others may enjoy or pretend to enjoy. Excellent on the images and acting but who can you believe? Not anyone in this movie.

Dark Knight

As a group of seniors we banded together for lunch and matinee showing of Dark Knight. Right from the beginning there was believable content and action. This visual treat beat like a boxers heart and the sound was music to a retiree's ears. The Joker's role was like finding hidden money and is Oscar material. I did not like the scenes with "Two Face" because it was
unnecessary and too far out. We did not leave our seats although enlarged prostrates were knocking at the door. Its a long movie but we enjoyed it all. Why the sad face?
