Most movies based on comic books or video games suck, but this was excellent. It's kind of slow at first, but picks up in a serious way very quickly. Heath Ledger plays the best psychotic crazy person I've seen in a movie, even surpassing Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lector. At first you think he's funny, eventually you get disgusted with him, and you eventually wish that Batman would kill him. Great flick. Not for kids in any way. Really should be rated R.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
