A Decent Effort

Christopher Nolan has created a separate and unique universe for Batman to occupy (beyond the "cartoony" films of the past). Everyone is talking about Heath Ledger's performance, which is jaw-dropping, but Aaron Eckhart's amazing execution of Harvey Dent and his altered ego, goes unsung. One of the only negatives (besides Maggie Gyllenhal's limp performance) is that the film itself is about 25 minutes too long.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
