Arguably the best superhero movie ever. Great depth of character added by Christian Bale's Batman performance. Heath Ledger's turn as The Joker worth staying up late for. Michael Caine and Gary Oldman both deliver, as always. Complex and interesting storyline, a unique darkness to the underlying themes that Frank Miller must be proud of. My only criticism would be that it is a little too long - there is so much story to tell that they didn't seem to know what to edit out. Overall awesome and well worth seeing, even at midnight on a weeknight!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
