Too much hype

I grew up loving Transformers. I have been looking forward to seeing this movie since the credits rolled on the first one. My 7 year old son has also been excited to see it. Taking children to see this movie is a HORRIBLE idea. The first movie may have been kid friendly but the level of inappropriate scenes in Revenge of the Fallen was disappointing. The length was also an issue. I feel there are many scenes that could have been removed to make the movie shorter and just as good. All in all a good movie, but a little disappointing for kids that were hooked by the first one.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
