The Dark Knight is a movie that walks the line between action/superhero popcorn flick, and a serious crime drama. Surprisingly, it is effective on both levels. Christopher Nolan created the movie like a skilled chemist, knowing exactly how much of each element was needed. There is not one scene that felt forced or unnecessary, and each actor played their part with conviction. When the movie is over you feel as if you have been to Gotham. That the Joker is testing you as well, and that Batman's world is a mirror to our own.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
