The Dark Knight has it all. Acting, dialogue, action, and just the right amount of creepiness from the Joker to not be too campy or cheesy. Fans of Batman Begins will be pleased with the direction Christopher Nolan has taken with this new Batman movie, and trust me, the movie does not disappoint with the insane amount of marketing and expectations that had been given to it. I was even a little hesitant, thinking no movie could live up to the hype, but incredibly, The Dark Knight does. It is a superhero movie that others will be judged by for a long time to come. Surprisingly, Gyllenhaal's Rachel Dawes isn't too bad, and Bale's Bruce Wayne is just as good as ever. Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine are still excellent, and though I doubt it needs to be said, Heath Ledger's Joker is incredible, practically stealing the entire movie. By far, I would recommend this movie. The length is the only aspect that I found to be an issue, but in reality, you don't even notice it once the movie begins.
