I've seen the Broadway show twice and couldn't wait for the movie. Wasn't sure the movie could compare to the show, but it was amazing! I saw it on opening day with my mother, then emailed all my friends recommending it. I took my grown daughters and sons' girlfriends last night and we had a fabulous time. The scenery, costumes, music, etc. is wonderful and you won't be let down. Everyone in the theater (both times) has laughed, tapped feet and sighed throughout the movie. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy!
